Hey friends!! I am thrilled to be sharing with you all about my move to New York City + the start of my new internship, ahhh! I am loving everything about the city and my internship. I have a routine now and (feel like) I have conquered the subway routes and can navigate my way down every block. Ok, maybe not every block yet, but I am way better at navigating through this city now than I was a week ago! I have settled into my tiny room and am at full force at work. Here are some quick little things that I have done, seen, and been up to for the past week here in the city.
When my parents were here to move me in, we were quit the tourist! We shopped in Times Square, went to a Broadway show, and went sight seeing in the city.
Monday morning I visited the Kelly and Ryan show and got to sit on the second row!! Ahh it was amazing to be so close to Ryan Seacrest! I was a total fan girl.
My first day of internship and there was snow on the ground!! I couldn't help myself to be a total touristy, city girl and get Starbucks and snap a picture with the snow.
I am absolutely loving my internship. It is such a dream!! I get to take pictures of beautiful sunglasses and reading glasses as well as research influencers and inspiration on all social media platforms. I will be working to grow and build this company's instagram and I am super excited for what is to come.
It's all about balance, right? I have a love/hate relationship with the building I'm in. I have a Chick-Fil-A on the corner (the only Chick-Fil-A in the city) and a Planet Fitness two blocks up. Some mornings I get a chicken biscuit and some mornings I workout, oh well. It's worth it!
One week down, seven to go. I am loving every minute of this crazy adventure and cannot wait for what is to come. Stay tuned as I know there will be more updates and post on all things New York City!!
