A Fall Filled Weekend

Finally, a weekend to try to check off every item on my fall bucket list. To begin this blog, I have to say that I have the #1 boyfriend in the world!! My man was happy to do everything I threw at him this weekend. From pumpkin patches to carving pumpkins to pictures (lots and lots of pictures), he was a champ through it all.

I am so thankful C and I had the opportunity to embrace this beautiful fall season. (Praise the Lord for his off weekend)

Here is what our weekend looked like...

Friday night: Friday we celebrated C's 21st birthday (early) with friends and a bonfire. It was a perfect night to sit out by the fire with friends. Happy early birthday, babe!

Saturday: Let the fall festivities begin! We started our Saturday morning off with a super fun trip to the pumpkin patch with some friends. We decided to try out a new pumpkin patch this year and we loved it! We took lots of photos and got a pumpkin for us to carve later on in the day. Thanks C for being such a great sport, always <3
And just take a close look at baby Truitt because he is just way too precious!!

After the pumpkin patch we headed back to Connor's house to relax and watch some football! It took some convincing to get C to agree to have a mini fall photo session (considering I asked him to take fall pictures during the Alabama game... oops) but he finalllllyyy agreed to participate and take a few pictures and oh my goodness gracious, look how beautiful they turned out! A HUGE HUGE thank you to his momma, Mrs. Tracy, for capturing these dreamy photos for us. They mean so so much to us. I love C and our little "fam", and I am way too obsessed with these pictures!!

In between the Alabama and Auburn game we hopped on the four wheeler and rode some dirt roads. Riding dirt roads on a cool fall day has to be one of the greatest things to do. Thank the Lord for perfect fall weather and Alabama dirt roads!!

Time to carve our pumpkin!! Here is what happened while I was attempting to be in the fall/Halloween spirit while carving our pumpkin- C decided he wanted to listen to Christmas music, yes CHRISTMAS music! WHY?! Because C said he was way too ready for Christmas and was obviously way over fall festivities. Despite his lack of enthusiasm for another fall activity, it was so fun to carve our pumpkin together and sing songs while doing it, even if the songs were Christmas in Dixie and White Christmas. (p.s. Don't worry, we will have an agenda of Christmas festivities before you know it!!)

Sunday: Church and lunch with family, cotton' fields, four wheeler riding, and a quiet day of relaxation. What a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon and an end to an absolutely blissful fall filled weekend. Oh how blessed I am with this life I live and the friends and family who live it with me. I am so very thankful for my man and his willingness to do whatever it is I have planned during my favorite season. Thank you, C.

Happy Fall, y'all!!

P.S. I checked off 7/15 activities on my fall bucket list in ONE weekend, wow! Have I already said how lucky I am to have an amazing boyfriend who is up for any adventure or crazy plan of mine?!
